There are two different positions for experienced Web Developers that have an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph to support programs that are located in Northern, VA. 

Job Duties:

• TheContractor shall design, develop, test, and deploy new JOOMLA websites.
• TheContractor shall manage the development of the new or custom JOOMLA websites,as well as alter existing sites.
• TheContractor shall use JOOMLA for publishing web content.
• TheContractor shall perform work independently or within a team environment.
• TheContractor shall have polished skills in development and execution and managinga moderate to heavy workload.
• TheContractor shall manage task workloads as directed by the Sponsor.
• TheContractor shall document website requirements.
• TheContractor shall design, build, and maintain web sites using authoring orscripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digitalmedia.
• TheContractor shall use Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop,Illustrator, and Acrobat to translate graphic designs to website designs.
• TheContractor shall perform software testing.
• TheContractor shall meet accessibility requirements and 508-compliancerequirements for web site design.
• TheContractor shall perform security testing and debugging of websites.
• TheContractor shall evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properlystructured, meets requirements and industry standards and is compatible withbrowsers, devices, or operating systems.
• TheContractor shall document and maintain website design, code, and systemspecifications.
• TheContractor shall participate in design and technical exchange meetings.
• TheContractor shall create efficient and effective customer outreach andcommunications mechanisms through the website.
• TheContractor shall confer with management or development teams to prioritizeneeds, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• TheContractor shall communicate activities and technical accomplishments tocustomer through weekly reports or similar status updates.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing custom JOOMLAwebsites, altering existing JOOMLA sites, and supporting JOOMLA website
• Demonstrated experience using JOOMLA forpublishing web content in websites.
• Demonstrated experience eliciting requirementsfor JOOMLA website development.
• Demonstrated experience in all components of theMEAN stack, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developingweb-based applications.
• Demonstrated experience debugging websites andmaking recommendations regarding proposed changes.
• Demonstrated experience using task tracking andversion control tools, such as GitHub and JIRA.
• Demonstrated experience with software testing,to include meeting accessibility requirements and 508-compliance.
• Demonstrated experience implementingaccessibility features in web and interactive products.
• Demonstrated experience working withstakeholders and partners to implement end to end solutions.
• Demonstrated experience using Adobe CreativeSuite products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.

• Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Joomla Extension or Module creation.
• Demonstrated experience with strong communication skills, to include the ability to speak in technical and non-technical terms.
• Demonstrated experience interacting comfortably with customers and within a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience configuring content management systems such as SharePoint and WordPress.
• Demonstrated experience translating user stories into application and database design.
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience performing system administration and database management tasks in a cloud environment.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating systems for availability and efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience database design, development, integration, and management.
• Demonstrated experience with data management tools.
