Job Duties:
- The Contractorshall work in collaboration with other existing Sponsor staff and contractors.
- The Contractorshall work all aspects of software development lifecycle (SDLC) development activities including design, coding, code review,unit/integration testing, bug fixing and code/api documentation.
- TheContractor shall create micro-services.
- TheContractor shall build, develop, test and deploy micro-services.
- TheContractor shall design or architect solutions to implement functionalityacross multiple micro-services.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with micro service architecture
- Demonstrated experience with the software developmentlifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementingcontainer managements or containers runtime technologies like Kubernetes orDocker
- Demonstrated experience with strong expertise in Javaprogramming skills
- Demonstrated experience programming in JavaScript
- Demonstrated experience coding in Python
- Demonstrated hands on experience with Linux shell scripting
- Demonstrated experience file parsing libraries such as TIKA,or similar
- Demonstrated experience processing datasets in varyingcharacter set encodings
- Demonstrated experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDBor similar
- Demonstrated experience with Elastic Search, Solr, or otherLucene-based tools
- Demonstrated hands on experience with REST API development,with emphasis on security and performance
- Demonstrated experience with the practical application ofengineering science and technology including applying principles, techniques,procedures, and equipment to the design and production of services
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem solvingboth technical issues
- Demonstrated experience with strongteamwork and ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
- Demonstratedexperience with excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstratedexperience effectively communicating technical information to non-technical
- audiences
- Demonstratedexperience working with cloud based services such as OpenShift or AWS
- Demonstratedexperience writing System Design Documents
- Demonstrated experience with Data Modeling
- Demonstratedexperience with research and development and recording progress via softwaredevelopment monitoring tools such as JIRA or Sharepoint
- Demonstratedexperience in UI/UX development
