We are seeking a driven and ethical AR / Debt Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in ensuring the financial health of our company by recovering outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively identify and contact delinquent accounts to arrange payment solutions.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recoveries.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements tailored to individual client circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate records and document all collection activities.
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines for debt collection.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable in it's entirety, run aging reports, actioning on collections, all documentation and systems entry, and communicating to management metrics and reports
  • Answer all phone calls for Finance department client payment related inquiries
  • Assist with other tasks needed by management

What You Bring:

  • Experience in setting up protocols and processes for AR / debt collections (huge plus)
  • Proven success in AR / debt collections
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AR / debt collections or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively, even in challenging situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate level in Microsoft Excel, experience with A/R aging software, CRM and Docusign (a plus).
  • A commitment to ethical and compliant collection practices.
  • A positive and results-oriented attitude.
