Estimator Project Manager - Low Voltage Electrical – Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Area of Refuge
Responsibilities:
· Prepare estimates / proposals for low voltage projects, including all documentation and coordination with contractor partners.
· Develop team project plans, specifications, and relevant information to determine scope of work and materials and labor required to complete projects.
· Oversee projects from start to finish, labor management, equipment rentals, subcontract coordination, on time on budget, and meeting safety code, and profitable project administration.
· Manage customer and vendor relationships in support of projects.
· Billing preparation.
· Site visits ensuring safety, quality, labor, materials, and efficiency.
· Scheduling projects.
· Laying out field technicians on projects (When not done by foreman.)
· Responsible for submittal, as-built drawing, and O&M documentation.
· Change orders.
· Perform all necessary calculations to obtain permits.
· Responsible for job compliance and permitting.
· Contract Management: review agreements and oversee project-related documentation.
Desired Experience & Skills:
· At least 2 years of Fire Alarm / Low Voltage bidding experience.
· At least 2 years of Fire Alarm / low voltage project management experience.
· EL06 or EL01 with NICET 3 or higher, FA-1 preferred.
· Experience with ProCore project management tools and proficiency in Bluebeam and MS Office.
· Ability to read blueprints and spec sheets.
· Strong communication skills – with drafter, customers, and the field team.
· Detail-orientated mindset and high level of accuracy.
· Strong organizational skills to manage projects.
· Ability to travel to jobsites to review progress, quality, and work with the team.
· High level of initiative and ability to take ownership of bids to project completion.
· Reliable attendance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
