Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize technical knowledge to ensure accurate design/test/delivery of the newly developed crypto units (GFE) for Next Gen GEO/Polar programs. Work with CCSD, General Dynamics Mission Systems, and LM to ensure accurate GFEs are tested and delivered on time to meet the program schedule needs
• Monitor all events associated the GFE integration to Space Vehicles; 1, 2 &3. Activities include: Flight unit test and deliveries, provide crypto EDM unit availability to contractors, review COMM panel test events and provide technical needs, and weekly progress status to gov't management team
• Provide detailed reports of progress with technical evaluation of risk and impact. Identify and elevate technical and programmatic challenges
• Identify technical discrepancies between hardware being utilized, installed, or built against requirements and program baselines
• Collect data and provide comprehensive analysis on existing development programs within the Next Gen program

Required Skills and Experience: 
• 5 years directly applicable experience
• Technical Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with spacecraft crypto and Comm systems
• Experience with military Overhead Persistent Infrared Systems (OPIR) satellite production
• Able to design, analyze, and report out on spacecraft and payload IR hardware to provide in-depth technical assessments and identify issues and risks
• Excellent communication skills, customer relationship and technical skills
• Experienced with leading spacecraft development activities
• Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision
• US Citizenship and a TS/SCI Security Clearance are required for the position

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $165,000 to $175,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
