Overview:
We are a private patient oriented small dental practice seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring its smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for dental patients
- Schedule management, including coordinating dental appointments and referrals to the specialists
- Supervise and manage office staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain phone etiquette and handle incoming calls in a professional manner
- Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental insurance verification and administrative processes and procedures is required
- Dental insurance claims and recall system knowledge
- 2 years of Experience in a dental office is required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using dental software is required (Dentrix is preferred)
- Experience in coordinating smooth operation of dental team is desirable
