Emerging creators are some of the most vibrant and influential voices across Linktree. These multifaceted creators transcend verticals across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, pop culture commentary and beyond to impact real time culture and trends. The Emerging Creators Lead will trend-spot and onboard these individuals to Linktree, and super-serve them by being their advocate across product, business development, marketing and leadership. You'll leverage pre-existing and developing relationships to grow Linktree's presence in the space and solicit feedback on ways we can better meet the needs of our users.

It's a strategic partner facing role where you will develop new relationships while also managing current partnerships, promoting the benefits of using Linktree, providing updates to partners on new features, sharing their feedback back to our Product, Marketing, Business Development and Leadership teams.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to take on and learn new challenges, and can problem solve strategic solutions to any obstacles in their way. You have previous experience at a social, media or influencer company and will be confident at following the latest cultural trends leads and proactive outreach while executing creative ways to support a growing roster of managed creators.

What You Will Own

• Lead Linktree's relationships with key emerging creators and stakeholders who are building their audience and brand in the digital space. Success will be measured by the quality of new relationships you develop and key creators that you onboard, with an eye towards quantity, too. You will own creator education campaigns to share best practices at scale and build strategies that engage creators from the first touchpoint all the way through to advocacy.
• This person will be seen as a strategic voice, and valued expert for key stakeholders within the company. This is a full funnel role that includes attracting, onboarding, activating, and retaining the most relevant up-and-coming creators in the space by cultivating product-led activation strategies. This person will brainstorm, collaborate and innovate creative solutions to deliver value to new creators. You understand how creators monetize their content and the trade-offs they face.
• Owning your role doesn’t mean you’re on your own, though - you’ll have peers, leaders and mentors available to help when needed as you innovate your way to delivering results and supporting others. This role works closely with the team identifying key partners and cultivating strategies to engage them.

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably working hands-on with creators or notable figures
• Deep passion for building relationships and leveraging connections of all kinds within the digital creator space to understand their worlds, their ambitions, and their needs
• Existing relationships within the creator and influencer or traditional lifestyle and entertainment world to lean on and learn from - managers, agents, publicists, etc.
• Highly detailed, organized, and planning-oriented, with exceptional follow-through, initiative, and time management skills
• Ability to be independent, self-motivated, and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Clear understanding of the tech landscape, where these players fit into it, and the opportunities that exist within it
• Experience working in a tech startup or supporting the growth of a SaaS product / business
• Analytical but also empathetic, with the ability to work with ambiguity and independently solve problems
• Empathy for the needs and experiences of creators of all digital literacy levels
• Not afraid to speak up and make a business case for change - back up your claims and you’ll shine here!

Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $90,700 - $136,000 in the Los Angeles area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate expertise, the scope of role and level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

We are a global and diverse group offering a truly flexible and family friendly work environment. Kids, pets, and the occasional delivery person are all actively encouraged to appear on our Zoom screens. All of us at Linktree work either fully remote or a hybrid "remote, but in-office sometimes" approach.

We currently have offices in Melbourne, Sydney and LA, but our team is spread across Australia, United States, and New Zealand. As our team approaches 200 people, our company will be 10x the size we were in 2020.

We offer autonomy and flexibility in how you structure your days and weeks. There will be the need for some collaboration outside of a "normal" 9-5 being a global company, but we aim to work asynchronously where possible.
