Links Technology Solutions is seeking a passionate and experienced Data Scientist to join our client's team in Tarrytown, NY, and contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities of the Data Scientist:
  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize AI/ML models to solve complex pharmaceutical challenges.
  • Leverage diverse data sources (omics, drug target data, operational data) to uncover hidden insights.
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data using advanced techniques.
  • Design and implement predictive models for targeted applications in drug discovery and development.
  • Build user interfaces for clear and effective data visualization.
  • Translate complex findings into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Partner effectively with scientists, IT, and other teams to drive data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality through advanced cleaning and validation techniques.
  • Deploy models into production and monitor their performance for continuous improvement.
  • Comply with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements.
Qualifications of the Data Scientist:
  • Master's degree in Data Sciences, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or mining.
  • 5 years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources.
  • Strong proficiency in AI/ML (supervised & unsupervised learning) and statistical analysis.
  • Command of Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SAS).
  • Experience with scripting languages for user interface creation.
  • Experience interacting with scientists and cross-functional teams to communicate data insights.
  • Collaborative, agile mindset with a passion for using data to drive results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
