Orthopedic Physician Assistant opportunity with large group south of Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida. Mix of OR first assist time and office time with Surgeon focused on Total Joint Replacement and Revisions.

About the Ortho Physician Assistant opportunity

• Great mix of OR and Clinic time (50:50)
• Mix of Surgeons and Physician Assistants
• EMR is Next Gen
• Call Rotation with PA team (one night every 2-3 weeks and one weekend every 2-3 months) with extra pay
• Weekend call allowance is $500 each day and $250 for weekday night call (call pick up extra shifts if desired)
• No Trauma call
• MRI, CT and Radiology all on campus
• Pre op evaluations and post op follow ups in clinic with Surgeon

Requirements of the Ortho Physician Assistant opportunity

• NCCPA Commissioned Physician Assistant
• Florida State Medical License
• Orthopedic training and career focus as Athletic Trainer, PTA, Ortho Tech, strong clinical rotations or Preceptorship
• Strong first assist experience
• Enjoy fast paced clinic environment, OR time, rounding, consults
• Team leaning

• Base Salary starts at $115,000
• Productivity Bonus up to $25,000
