Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking an Analyst – IT Solution to join our team.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Analyst – IT Solution will be responsible for on-call and system support for specific applications, collaborating with business users and stakeholders to develop business and functional requirements, and executing short-term projects independently. They will maintain expertise in a particular application environment or functional vertical and work with IT professionals to ensure system stability, efficiency, and responsiveness to business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be 21 years or older.

· Employer asks for I-9 information.

· Demonstrated experience with LMS FOH is REQUIRED.

· Experience with secondary applications include: InfoGenesis, Enseo/IPTV, GroundWidgets, Passkey, Visionline, Bartech, and CRS.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

· Minimum five (5) years of experience in business requirements gathering and definition.

· Minimum three (3) years of experience in IT or working with IT professionals.

· Proven experience with multiple applications and interfaces, e.g., financial systems or expertise in a relevant LVS functional area, i.e., FOH, BOH, gaming, marketing, IT.

· Experience in large projects with strong business analysis skills and the ability to provide consultative recommendations.

· Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse guests and team members.

· Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any required certifications or licenses.

· Preferred experience with casino and hospitality applications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Offer subject matter expertise for business functions or configuring application system environments within the VCR Application suite.

· Collaborate with the product management team to provide expertise in determining business requirements, addressing opportunities or issues across business functions, such as Front-of-House.

· Partner with the product management team and vendors, actively participating in the solution phase to support business requirements across various functional areas.

· Contribute to project/effort modeling and solution sizing.

· Develop functional and technical specifications based on business requirements.

· Establish criteria for supporting developed solutions.

· Create comprehensive solutions encompassing systems development, process improvement, organizational change, strategic planning, or policy development.

· Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, including application and on-call support, minor and major projects, functional requirements, systems specifications, and subject matter expertise.

· Independently work with users to define concepts under the direction of Project and Product Managers.

· Continuously expand knowledge of the application suite.

· Independently provide L2 application and on-call support for the application suite and manage short-duration projects; typically, one (1) to three (3) months.

· Serve as a resource for major projects as needed.

· Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

· Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, distinguishing user requests from underlying needs.

· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements, delivering artifacts such as business and functional requirements and use cases as needed.

· Utilize experience in enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies.

· Drive and collaborate with business units on executing their plans effectively.

· Act as a conduit between the customer community (internal and external) and the software development team to facilitate the flow of requirements.

· Develop requirements specifications using standard templates and natural language.

· Collaborate with developers to establish technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.

· Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

· Demonstrate strong analytical and product management skills, including the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

· Maintain strong organizational skills, a customer service focus, attention to detail, and a process-oriented approach.

· Present information effectively to senior leaders.

· Adapt flexibly to a changing environment.

· Ensure safety as a key function of this job.

· Maintain consistent and regular attendance, including on-call availability on a rotational basis, as an essential function of this job.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.
