Links Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer (Senior-Level) to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland.

The Network Engineer will support the Army’s Project Manager for Intelligence Systems and Analytics (IS&A) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our organization's networks and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures to meet business requirements.
Plan and oversee the implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network infrastructure components.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network infrastructure.
Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems in a timely manner.
Implement network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Optimize network performance and recommend improvements as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the network meets organizational needs.
Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate network solutions securely.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and improvements.
Perform capacity planning for network infrastructure to ensure scalability and performance.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades.
