Job Title: Clinical Analyst

Role Summary
As a Clinical Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining clinical software applications. Cross train with other analyst and rotate on call for superior performance. You will report directly to the Clinical Systems Manager and work with Network Analysts, Financial Analysts, Help Desk as well as Physicians.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Analyzes, develops, and maintains computer applications, procedures and other systems that satisfy the needs of the end-user departments.
· Develop necessary design work, including testing and documentation.
· Coordinate and install new software applications.
· Shares on-call duties with other individuals withing Information Services.
· Demonstrate knowledge of and support mission, value statements, standards, policies and procedures.
· Has working knowledge of software modules of the HIS and hardware troubleshooting.
· Stays current with updates in technology.
Qualifications and Skills
· Associates Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field.
· Minimum of three years of experience with computer information systems or equivalent experience in Healthcare Information Management.
· Minimum two years of work experience in Radiology, Nursing, Laboratory, or related field.
Essential Physical Abilities/Motor Skills
· Able to travel independently to other facilities.
· Basic computer skills including MS Windows and/or PC’s, thin clients, printers and understanding of general technical concepts in Healthcare Information Management.
