Link Network is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Waipahu, HI

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Estimator for our residential projects. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with residential construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Project Plans and Specifications: Analyze architectural drawings, engineering plans, and project specifications to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Perform Quantity Take-offs: Measure and quantify materials, labor, and equipment needed for residential construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and additions.
  • Solicit Bids: Reach out to subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information for materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
  • Prepare Cost Estimates: Utilize estimating software and tools to compile and organize cost data, including materials, labor, equipment, permits, and other project expenses, to generate accurate project cost estimates.
  • Develop Budgets: Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets based on cost estimates and project requirements.
  • Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of all project estimates, including assumptions, qualifications, and any other relevant information.
  • Coordinate with Project Teams: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project estimates align with project plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and residential roofing processes.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator.
  • Proficiency in Procore.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong computer skills and experience with web-based applications.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
