We are looking for a talented Performance Driver, I to use their skills to setup, conduct, and assist in the analysis of a Vehicle Test to ensure data is meeting design specifications established by Customers;

and assist Engineers in determining the practicality of the proposed product design to carry out tests for performance, durability, and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

• Knowledge of basics of Passenger Car, Light Truck and Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems
• Use and review RevData Plus software
• Use LINK data and customer-based Excel formulas
• Perform manual trigger stops
• Diagnosis of instrumentation issues such as Torque Wheels, Dump Valves, DC Tachs, etc.
• Proper usage of rubbing / embedded TC's
• Shakedown new procedures on test vehicles
• Knowledge of different configuration files and functionality
• Basic performance tests like Pedal Feel, Decel Cold, and multiple NVH procedures
• Assist with question specs and test activities for new test jobs
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment
• All other related duties as assigned
• Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in automotive testing or related work experience
• Completed coursework in digital electronics, circuit functions and basic electronics preferred
• Understanding of basic and analog & temperature data preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Ability to work well in a Team environment
• Technical aptitude to form hypothesis, verify test methods, draw conclusions, and communicate results effectively
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to use a computer

Physical Requirements

This position is located in a testing environment and will involve hands-on work. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 50 lbs.

bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity or standing for long periods of time.

• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically
• Able to work overtime, nights and / or weekends as required
