Currently we have a Training Technician role open. As a Training Technician, you will research, organize, design, develop and conduct training programs for all products of the company.
Essential functions of the position include:
  • Instruct training sessions for distributor, customer and internal LBC personnel on all products and service related issues
  • Keep up with current trends in training methods and employ best practices in each instructional session
  • Interface with Engineering, Marketing, Production and Product Support to design and develop training programs
  • Assist in the design and maintenance and monitor effectiveness of training programs
  • Assist in creating effective and engaging training media
  • Work with other departments/company personnel to provide assistance in technical areas when required. This may require field travel to distributor/customer locations
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and distributor contact personnel
  • Transport training attendees on and off site utilizing company van
General qualifications for this role:
  • 4 year college degree preferred in Communication, Education, Technical discipline or closely related degree program
  • One year of instructional experience in construction, heavy manufacturing or mechanical discipline
  • Must have strong presentation and organizational skills
