Linglestown Early Learning Center is currently searching for a Full-time or Part time Kindergarten Teacher/ School Age Teacher. Preferred schedule is 7-9am, 12-6pm but we can be flexible. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required. BA, AA, or CDA preferred but not required.
• Applicant must have minimum of 2 years of documented experience working with children.
• Applicant must obtain 4 clear background checks. (We will do this for you!)
• Applicant must obtain a physical and TB test. (We will do this for you!)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Duties:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based
• learning.
• Incorporate creative arts, music, and movement into daily activities.
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for school-aged children utilizing PA Early Learning Standards. (Don’t worry, we’ll teach you!)
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide individualized support as needed utilizing Desired Results. (Again, we’ll teach you!)
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and progress by means of Brightwheel and in person communication.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment meeting high standards of the Environmental Rating Scale. (Don’t worry, we’ll teach you what ERS is!)
• Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom meeting DHS licensing standards.
