The RN is an integral part the care team. The RN is respsonsible for clinical supervision of all facets of Assisted Living and Independent Living in conjunction with the AL Administrator. Completes all assessments of prospective and current AL residents according to regulations. Hires, orients,trains and disciplines all clinical staff, monitors clinical performance (medications, ADLs, treatments, documentation), and completion of daily assignments. Maintains and updates all required clinical documentation regarding residents. Develops and administers all training to meet annual recertification requirements. Intervenes with Families and residents regarding clinical issues. Member of the Continuing Care Committee. In addition, supervises and evaluates companions.
