Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade. Responsibilities: - Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems - Learn to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely - Follow safety protocols and adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines - Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs - Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints - Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently - Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong interest in pursuing a career as an electrician - Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools - Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related field is a plus - Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints - Knowledge of high voltage systems is preferred but not required - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Note: This is a paid position.
