Lindsay Windows GA is looking for a Maintenance Technician on Second Shift!
We are looking for an entry level Maintenance Technician to help with installation and maintenance of our equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
The successful candidate will have mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. We will train the right candidate!
Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing production equipment.
• Servicing and maintaining production equipment including motors, PLC's, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
• Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Adjusting and calibrating machinery to improve productivity.
• Completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements.
• Communicating with the production and management team
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills
• Good time-management skills

Physical Requirements Within This Position:

• Stand for the entire shift.
• Lift and transfer 35Ibs frequently throughout the course of the day.
• Lift and transfer 50Ibs occasionally throughout the course of the day.
• Reach overhead occasionally.
• Bend at the waist and pivot from the waist frequently.
• Use fine hand manipulation movements frequently.
