Linde is Hiring a Senior Tax Accountant - State and Local Income Tax Near The Woodlands, TX
- In this role, you will assist with all activities regarding state and local income tax, state tax research, and tax planning as required of the organization
- Assist with preparation of state and city income tax estimates, extensions and return preparations
- Ensure timely accurate payments, applications/request for refunds and return filings
- Assist with preparation of apportionment, nexus and sourcing analysis
- Assist with preparation of state tax accounting calculations for external reporting, per ASC 740
- Research and assist with state and city notices and technical issues
- Support state and local tax audits and inquiries, including identifying and quantifying tax risk
- Assist with research related to mergers & acquisitions, potential credits and incentives and overall state footprint planning
- Identify, recommend and assist in implementation of policy, process and digitalization improvements to streamline processes, improve analysis, and create move valuable output for stakeholders
- Monitor and assist with changes that result from legislative updates and changes in state tax laws
