Linde is Hiring a Project Buyer Near The Woodlands, TX
- You will be responsible for the implementation of project specific sourcing strategies
- In this role you will evaluate & negotiate bidders´ quotations (commercial bid analysis)
- You will be responsible for the negotiation of purchasing contracts based on Linde's Terms & Conditions
- You will execute price negotiations and purchase order placements
- Moreover, you will coordinate all queries of the suppliers regarding procurement
- You will be initiating and following up supplier qualifications
- Preparation & participation in Supplier Audits is part of your role
- You will be the point of contact throughout order execution (invoice control, change scope of supply, non-conformities, escalations)
- Also, you will manage close-outs of purchase orders (penalties, supplier claims) and support the execution of internal improvement projects to optimize and streamline existing tools, systems and processes
- You will offer continuous support with involvement in strategic procurement issues (lessons learnt, product portfolio update, suppliers´ relationship)
- You will be responsible for commercial Implementation of Frame Agreements
