Linde is Hiring a Lead Mechanical Equipment Engineer - Small On-Site Near Tonawanda, NY
- You will develop basic design, detailed engineering, and procurement-related activities of Rotating & Static Equipment/packages such as pumps, compressors, blowers, refrigeration units, cooling systems, silencers& filters
- Develop rotating equipment specifications and commissioning guidelines for the equipment
- Also, you will provide rotating equipment information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the project team
- Further, you will provide the technical expertise to assist in achieving accuracy in project piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID’s)
- Prevent the overrunning of rotating equipment budgets, both in manpower terms and purchased equipment costs on assigned projects is part of your tasks
- Additionally, you will submit requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions
- You will be participating in equipment check-out and commissioning
