Linde is Hiring an Indirect Buyer Near Tonawanda, NY
- You will know and understand the IMS process 2040.700 "Purchasing of Indirects"
- Also, you will identify and inform all LEA stakeholders about this process, its requirements, instructions, roles, responsibilities, duties and tasks
- You will function as the point of contact for any indirect purchasing related for all LEA employees.
- Further, you will finalize and issue Indirect purchase orders as per the IMS process as well as maintain the SAP database for indirect purchase orders
- In this role, you will negotiate issues and continuously update inventory of all indirect (frame) agreements, contracts, purchase orders with and obligations towards suppliers of indirects including the existing basic information (quantities, volumes, locations, time periods)
- You will centrally store all Frame agreements, contracts, purchase orders, documents
- Also, you will be responsible for generating a monthly report about the current spend on indirects and using report for each prior fiscal year to forecast the yearly outlook based on the current contractual obligations. Aligns with LEHQ/MG GPCEC and Linde Gas on the future strategy and cooperation, e.g. reporting, bundling, common frame agreements etc
- You will closely monitor the market for indirects spend and update price developments
- You also will provide administrative support to LEA personnel for any indirect purchasing
- In this role, you will be working with strategic procurement leads, establishes and executes an early warning method for the expiration of indirect (frame) agreements and contracts
