Lindburg Vogel Pierce Faris, Chartered with offices in Kansas and Colorado is seeking a full-time accountant with at least 1 year of recent public accounting audit experience. Position is available at the Centennial Colorado office to perform accounting, audit, tax, and advisory services to a diverse roster of clients throughout the Midwest.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with and/or lead audit engagements including conducting audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements and work papers, and completing audit-related tasks for several types of businesses and non-profit organizations.
• Perform diversified accounting and tax-related tasks under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and resolve audit related issues under the direction of senior management.
• Develop and cultivate client relationships and provide strategic business consulting.
• Senior level candidates will supervise, train and mentor audit staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment and availability for occasional overnight travel to client locations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• Staff level: 1 years of public accounting audit experience; CPA candidate preferred.
• Senior level: 3 years of public accounting audit experience demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks; CPA license or on track to obtain required.[
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
