Lincoln Trail Area Development District (LTADD), a multi-jurisdictional, planning and development agency, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to serve as Community Development Team Leader. Position provides direct assistance to the deputy director in administration and section operations within the Community Development department. Specific areas of work include oversight of community development services, regional planning, and development processes with emphasis on State and Federal programs. Services include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Hazard Mitigation, and Water & Wastewater.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Public Administration, Urban & Regional Planning, Political Science, or related field and, at least three (3) years related experience. Preferred: Master’s Degree from an accredited university in Public Administration, Urban & Regional Planning, Political Science, or related field and one (1) year of related experience.

Applicant must have an active CDBG certification, grant writing and project administration skills, be able to handle multiple projects, and work effectively with staff, public officials and general public; and, provide technical assistance in the areas of data collection, report formulation and analysis. Candidate must have administrative and supervisory abilities and demonstrate diplomacy and sound judgement. This position must function both in an administrative and programmatic capacity to ensure that all departmental work tasks are completed in conformation with all related program guidelines and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,977.00 - $59,031.00 per year
