This is a full-time on-site role to start and will transition to 2,3 days on -site once the candidate ramps up. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. Job Costing experience - percent to complete reporting and accounting experience is highly preferred, but not necessary. Other duties include AP/AR management, bank reconciliations, and assisting with annual audit and tax preparation. Qualifications
1- 3 years of GL or Ops Accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus, not required
