Program

Pupil Personnel Services is a collaborative community of school based psychologists.

Description

Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological, educational, and instructional evaluations, serving as an educational team member, conducting presentations, making educational recommendations, providing counseling to groups or individuals, and additional tasks as directed. Psychologist will also conduct appropriate testing, when requested, in an effort to increase learning and achievement, appropriate behavior and social function.

Qualifications

  • Valid Pennsylvania Certification - School Psychologist PK - 12
  • Master's degree

Terms of Employment

Full-time, 200 days 

Salary

LIUEA (minimum $61,390), plus competitive benefits for full-time employees*

*The LIU offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, including:

  • Medical (for a nominal premium), dental and vision insurance. The LIU pays the premium for dental and vision insurance.
  • All full-time professional staff receive a $45,000 life insurance policy, which is paid for by the LIU.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP). For any employees and eligible dependents. You have the opportunity for 3 free counseling sessions per year, per person.
  • Short-term Disability
  • Long-term Disability
  • Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS)
  • Full-time employees who are scheduled for 200 days/year receive 11 sick days and 3 personal days. If hired after the start of any year, the leave is prorated.
  • Access to the Lincoln Health and Wellness Center. For employees who are on the LIU insurance and any dependents on the insurance, you have access to the Lincoln Health and Wellness Center. Visits include no deductibles, little to no wait time, same or next day appointments may be available, virtual care is an option for certain types of visits, more one-on-one time with the provider; You also have access to a Patient Advocate/Counselor.
