Lincoln Hills Development Corp is Hiring an Early Head Start Teacher Near Tell, IN

Description

Head Start Birth-5 has an opening for a full-time Early Head Start Teacher position working 35 hours per week. Responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of education services for Early Head Start infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. Will work in collaboration with an Assistant Teacher and Classroom Aide to prepare and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, utilizing research-based curriculum as designated by the Head Start Birth-5 program.

Requirements

Childhood Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant toddler development required. LHDC may provide on the job training to obtain the appropriate credentials if necessary. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching infants and toddlers preferred. 

Must meet Head Start and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical and complete an annual T.B. test.
