The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on an Installation Processor II to join our Group Protection Claims & Operations Team in one of the following key city offices (Dover, NH; Omaha, NE;). You will report to the Supervisor, System Configuration & Installation.
Background Details
As an Installation Processor II, you will work within a team that configures Lincolns internal systems when Customers are in the process of onboarding. You will be responsible for ensuring the system is configured appropriately based on the services and products elected. You will process and manage all assigned installation cases to the point of a claim billing cycle. You will work with internal partners amongst all areas of customer onboarding ensuring a profitable business & customer-centric experience. If this sounds like a role for you, please read on!
What you'll be doing
  • Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
  • Makes routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines.
  • Applies expanded knowledge obtained from the role in increasingly more complex situations and continues to acquire more knowledge to apply in role.
  • Provides a diverse range of information and performs a diverse range of tasks/transactions related to common programs and services.
  • Reviews all sold case information with stakeholders on the unique characteristics of each case & makes recommendations using established procedures & underwriting guidelines.
  • Provides instructions to team members on creating the policyholder's contract, certificates, and enrolling members into appropriate systems to generate the first billing statement(s).
  • Provides diverse range of information to team members’ questions to support organizational capabilities.
  • Provides instructions to internal stakeholders on new business installations, files &/or methods to utilize for enrollments & enrolling members into appropriate systems to generate billing statement(s) ensuring accuracy & quality products.
  • Communicates and coordinates with stakeholders on sold case submissions to successfully initiate and implement assigned cases.
  • Performs processing of all sold cases including ensuring all relevant documentation related to cases is obtained, entered into the system(s) & output documentation is finalized/completed in order to provide an exceptional customer implementation experience.
  • Identifies participation, guarantee issue, billing, commission, contractual and eligibility requirements using general underwriting guidelines.
  • Executes system transactions to accurately apply sales credit.
  • Communicates effectively and provides customer service at every touch point to internal stakeholders, recognizes what needs to be done to meet.
  • customer needs and demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain systematic tracking of a workload in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
  • High School or GED (Minimum Required)
  • 2 - 3 Years of customer service, product and/or service implementation and/or project management experience (Required)
Nice-to-have:
  • Group insurance product knowledge and experience.

Pay Range: $22.84 - $28.85
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
