This position is responsible for performing administrative duties and skilled work relating to the discovery, listing and appraising of all classes of property within the county for tax purposes, developing and maintaining ownership maps, collecting and calculating data relevant to the classification and valuation of real personal property in compliance with all laws and regulations, representing the county at the State Board of Tax Appeals, and preparing and presenting reports to the County Commissioners and the Kansas Property Valuation Division.
