Position: MTSS Implementation Coordinator

Location: Lincoln County Schools

Terms of Contract: 11 months, full-time, benefit eligible

Reports To: Director of Student Support Services

Monthly Salary: State Salary Schedule: $3900 -$6722 per month (plus 9.75% local supplement). The salary for this position is based upon the successful applicant’s years of service in The State Retirement System and will be paid according to the current State Salary Schedule

FLSA: EXEMPT

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must meet State certification requirements for a classroom teacher
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• At least five years of successful teaching experience and/or experience with MTSS as an administrator or curriculum coach

Areas of Responsibility:

• Point of contact for school level MTSS teams and administrators

Job Functions and Duties:

• Promotes the fidelity of implementation of a MTSS framework at school sites, including alignment to core, identification of students, delivery of interventions and progress monitoring
• Provides training, consultation, and support to administrators, teachers, and school-based leadership teams to facilitate implementation of a MTSS framework at the district and school levels.
• Provides individualized coaching for school MTSS leadership on best practices with teaming structures, intervention delivery, progress monitoring, and data-based decision making
• Collaborates with the Coordinator of Accountability and Student Information to monitor and report out student achievement and universal screening data associated with the multi-tier assessments such as mClass (Dibels 8), iReady, Correct Writing Sequences (CWS) and common formative assessments
• Provides professional development for administrators, certified staff, and non-certified staff on the MTSS framework and application of achievement data for effective instruction/intervention
• Assists a district MTSS team in evaluating, purchasing, distributing, and supporting intervention materials and strategies
• Assists schools in developing strategic plans for intervention and growth for all students
• Collaborates with Literacy Director to bridge district literacy initiatives and schools’ implementation of a MTSS framework, ensuring alignment and integration of strategies and resources
• Facilitates the transfer of MTSS documentation when students transition from elementary to middle and middle to high 
• Attends all professional development at the state, regional and district levels for MTSS
• Manages the inventory, distribution and utilization of intervention materials and resources aligned with the Standard Treatment Protocol
• Works collaboratively with district instructional support staff to ensure consistent dissemination of information to MTSS leadership and school-level personnel
• Must be able to perform heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of forces frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects
• Other duties as assigned
