Description
If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, we are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Software Tester. The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will have Software Tester experience and will be a member of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Tactical Software Engineering team and will be responsible for performing a full range of system testing and quality assurance tasks in support of the Tactical Software Systems being developed and integrated by the team.
- Prepare Test Plans and Reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Participates in and conducts System Operation and Verification Tests (SOVT), System Operability Tests (SOT), and recommends personnel for participation
- Performs software testing in support of Information Assurance Vulnerability (IAV) acceptance testing
- Participates in staff meetings, System Engineering Review Boards (ERB), technical exchange meetings, and meetings to verify system functionality with overall security architecture.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with "Task-Specific Projects", including three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in a "Relevant Technical Field"
- Secret Clearance
Education:
- Relevant Education and/or Technical Training in specified subject C5ISR field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems, is a plus.
