Job Description

Functional/Technical Skills

3 years of Banner Student Information System experience
In depth understanding of core business processes of in higher education is essential
Functional understanding of key processes in Accounts Receivable, Financial Aid, and/or Student modules is desirable
Serve as functional liaison during customer status meetings
Interpret business requirements and work with team members to evaluate institutional application customizations and make recommendations to implement baseline and/or program functionality
Banner 9.x experience (preferred)
Provides functional support to end users on multiple application system modules
Assists with development and delivery of end user training
Creates and updates end user documentation
Analyzes specifications and proposes additional or alternate solutions
Works with users and stakeholders to define, analyze, recommend, and implement system improvements
BS or MS in Information Technology or Business/Liberal Arts is preferred

Soft Skills

Strong problem solving experience.
Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising service team on application issues.
Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
Create and maintain documentation and standards.
Create and maintain documentation of all Banner customization's and application releases.
Experience working with onsite and remote teams
The project will require time on-site at the Athens GA project location.
