**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our medical team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. This role plays a crucial part in patient care by ensuring accurate specimen collection for diagnostic purposes. **Responsibilities:** - Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to obtain blood samples - Label specimens accurately and ensure proper handling and transportation - Verify patient information and maintain medical records - Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during blood collection - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care **Requirements:** - Certification or diploma in Phlebotomy or related field - Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures - Experience in performing vital signs assessments - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling - Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures - Previous experience in a healthcare setting Join our team as a Phlebotomist to contribute to the well-being of our patients through precise blood sample collection and compassionate patient care.
