Lillys Gastronomia Italiana Inc is Hiring a New England Sales Representative Near Everett, MA

Description:

The New England Sales Representative is responsible for the growth of existing accounts and the development of new business for Lilly’s fresh Pasta in Its assigned region. This role will develop and implement an annual, regional business plan to achieve account and sell through targets with profitable margins. The Sales Representative will travel throughout the area to establish, manage and grow our distributor network and be responsible for the development and execution of small medium and large restaurant accounts within the area. He/She will be responsible for following up on leads who engage in our products and convert them into customers. Duties will also include sales and marketing events, product sampling demos, cold leads, qualifying, and setting appointments.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of the sales process and Product knowledge dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills. Some previous experience in a sales role is a must.

Requirements:
  • Maximize sales opportunities by scheduling appointment with restaurants owners, chefs, and distributor reps and hosting pasta demos at distributors or on site with restaurant chefs and decision makers
  • Manage pipeline of qualified prospects using company CRM and perform daily review of leads and lead sources
  • Execute the regional business plan by working closely with distributors Reps and Restaurants owners/chefs in your region
  • Achieve annual new sales and portfolio account goals by product and region goals
  • Increase execution rates at the unit level with distribution channels
  • Interface with distributor partners on strategic objectives for each product or Customer
  • Communicate with executive leadership daily on your sampling execution to achieve distribution goals and Company benchmarks
  • Develop and implement incentives to drive sales
  • Make 50 - 100 Restaurant outbound calls daily minimum and convert distributor leads to appointments and customer demos. ( calls can be combination of distributor reps and Restaurants owners and chefs
  • Min of 2-3 district Blitzes per month
  • 4-6 confirmed qualified customer Pasta demos per Day
  • Provide Executive Leadership with accurate and timely information & reporting necessary to manage the business unit and improve on region performance
  • Establish strong sales presence within territory and conduct regular distributor meetings to ensure product knowledge and sales initiatives are maintained in the assigned region
  • Manage and grow a list of key regional Broadline distributors, and key independent distributors
  • Audit accounts quarterly and provide feedback against execution strategy
  • Make recommendations on marketing tactics, based on regional feedback from customers
  • Collaborate with Lilly’s marketing team on special projects such as trade shows and industry events
  • Work with executive leadership on Execution strategies and market share growth initiatives

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting
  • Position may require travel out of state: Up to 15%
  • Requires ability to occasionally lift to 25- 30 Lb.
