We are looking for an Optometrist to perform eye exams and provide excellent eye care to our patients. Our offices, (Orlando and Oviedo) are located inside a retail setting (Target Optical). New grads are welcome to apply. Note that to be considered for this position, you need to be a licensed Optometrist in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients

Skills

• Work experience as an Optometrist but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Understanding of eye conditions and vision defects
• Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as ophthalmoscope and tonometer
• The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly
• Attention to detail
• Degree in Optometry in the state of Florida
