```Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Teacher to join our team. As a After School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and providing them with a quality experience and fun. Duties:

- Create and implement homework help, fun crafts and seasonal lessons, outdoor play

- Provide structure, routine and fun

- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment

- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff for fun themed days, field trips and educational programs

- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom community

- Encourage student engagement and participation in class activities

Skills:

- Strong classroom management skills to effectively manage student behavior

- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting

- Ability to educate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to address challenging student behaviors

- Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students' individual needs

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with students (highly preferred)

- Knowledge of child development principles

- Familiarity with age appropriate expectations

**Potential to drive a van for field trips/bus pickup, but not required.

This position can be part time (2:30-5/6/6:30) or full time (10-5/6/6:30) for the right candidate.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
