Lignetics is Hiring a Shipping Department/Forklift Operator (FT) Near Hayward, WI
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full time
- Shift Schedule: Day shift, M - F (hours may vary)
- Salary: $18 - $20 / hr depending on experience
- *Plus, hourly incentive bonus earning up to an additional $2 and hour*
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Description:
- The shipping position is primarily a forklift operator position, focused on loading trucks.
- Also assists with warehouse order fulfillment and product packaging.
- Operator interfaces with truck drivers and plant personnel to ensure safe and efficient loading.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating a forklift loading trucks, in the warehouse and production areas of the plant.
- Prior to shift start, complete forklift inspections.
- Seat belts are to be worn at all times and the lift must be operated at a safe speed.
- Clean surface areas and keep areas organized.
- All trucks/shipment are to have proper paperwork, product counted and verified after loading.
- Packaging slips and customer specific product labeling must be attached to all loads as specified.
- All trucks loaded by the forklift must be properly secured in place before and while loading.
- Assist in warehouse or plant as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned.
