Mobile Service Technician Heavy Equipment Responsibilities

  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs on equipment and property structures
  • In conjunction with the fleet maintenance supervisor, implement preventative maintenance measures
  • In conjunction with the fleet maintenance supervisor, maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
  • Repair and maintain fleet equipment when repaired
  • Repair and service various types of heavy equipment on a specific schedule
  • Perform other maintenance duties as requested

Mobile Service Technician Heavy Equipment Education / Qualifications

  • High School diploma / GED required - vocational school preferred
  • Valid Driver License
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment - front end loader, forklifts and skid steers, etc.
  • Must have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge also a plus
  • physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
  • Effective writtenand oral communcation skills
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision - this position reports directly to the fleet maintenance supervisor
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  • Able to work all shifts and overtime if necessary
  • 5-7 years of experience a plus
  • Must have own set of tools
