Material Coordinator

The Material Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the project material yards (general warehouse maintenance), inventory of products and dispensing to contractor personnel. These responsibilities include assisting with ordering equipment, forecasting inventory, organizing the material yard, and aiding the inspectors and project managers as needed. Candidate will successfully meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business directives and safety practices.

· Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.

· Must be able to load and unload equipment/supplies on and off of trucks.

· Must be able to operate a forklift.

· Familiar with and adhere to quality standards and safety practices.

· Maintain vendor compliance with current state and federal safety guidelines as it applies.

Required Skills

· Ability to effectively operate iPad & laptop to fulfill the requirements of the position.

· Ability to access and utilize web-based applications for time reporting, and other needs for the role.

· Ability to track the flow of the company’s inventory.

· Having the ability to repair equipment/ machinery is a plus.

· Ability to effectively utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Required Experience

· Previous warehouse experience in outside plant construction is preferred.

· Two (2) or more years of related experience and/or training preferred.

· Forklift Operator preferred.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
