Overview:
We are seeking a Family Assistant to join our team. As an Assistant, you will provide support in a variety of tasks, both business and personal. It could include various childcare, home care, and clerical activities. An ideal candidate would be someone who has experience with and enjoys working with kids, would be able to maintain the cleanliness of the household without needing instruction, and enjoys assisting with a variety of small business functions.

Duties:
- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Engage in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the household
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and personal hygiene routines
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Assist as needed with home-based business tasks as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare settings is preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Strong personality to provide a structured environment for kids
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

We are looking to start with 3-4 days per week for about 4 hours. The schedule can be flexible so long as it is consistent. This position could scale up to full-time with the right candidate in place.

A typical day might include a portion of this schedule:
- 6:30am-9am - Waking kids and getting them ready for their day.
- 9am-11am - Cleaning/Laundry/office tasks while supervising play.
- 11am-11:30am - Preparing lunch and snacks
- 11:30am-12:30pm - Lunch for kids, then down for nap.

-1pm-3:00pm General Cleaning/meal prep

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
