A Registered Behavior Technician, or RBT, is responsible for assisting behavioral analysis teams in evaluating Learners and their conditions over a certain timeframe. Their duties include adhering to behavioral health plans developed by other BCBA professionals to provide learners with beneficial care, interviewing learners and drafting reports to relay their progress to senior BCBAs. Required: High School Diploma. Also must be able to pass a Drug Screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and assist in the development of behavior support plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLP, OT, PT) to ensure consistent and effective treatment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's degree in psychology (preferred)
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must obtain 40 hour RBT certificate prior to scheduled start date (trainings are paid for and provided to you at least 2 weeks before your scheduled start date)
