Job Description

Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers is seeking a team-oriented individual to manage and oversee our outpatient behavioral health program in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and monitor Quality Assurance activities to ensure that the program is in compliance with policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide clinical supervision to counselors and case managers
  • Provides oversight to ensure the facility meets state standards.
  • Work with Leadership to hire and train staff
  • Conduct staff meetings
  • Monitors productivity of clinical staff
  • Supervise the day-to-day program operations
  • Perform training and other monthly program requirements
  • Monitors Lighthouse workflows regarding Intakes, Discharge Planning, Initial Needs Assessments, Treatment Plans, and treatment services within time guidelines as required by ODMHSAS and OHCA regulations
  • Participate in team staffing/case conferences
  • Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines
  • Understand and monitor billing and prior authorization process
  • Understand Health Home program and billing processes

Qualifications and Benefits


Must Possess: Master's degree in a mental health related field from an accredited university and four(4) years of experience in a professional capacity involving the delivery of clinical services, a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory capacity and preferably two (2) years working with target consumer population; or, any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Oklahoma licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LBP, or LADC-MH

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Understanding of working with individuals who have mental illness and substance use issues.
  • The evaluation of patients, treatment planning, and counseling services
  • Needs and risk assessment.
  • The impact of trauma
  • Understand crisis management.
  • Able to supervise counselors, case managers and recovery support staff and review their files on a regular basis.
  • Confidentiality regarding behavioral health charts and patients, knowledge of 42 CFR
  • Emergency response skills 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate good decision making in dealing with safety issues and with aggressive and/or intoxicated clients, if required 
  • Mediation and negotiations skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and listening skills.
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work cooperatively within a team environment.
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Be flexible.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • Be consistent and fair.
