LightFire Group is Hiring an Item Picker Near Tamarac, FL

Are you ready to take a pivotal role in our operations that ensure every customer order is met with accuracy and care? We are thrilled to announce the opportunity for a dynamic Order Picker to join our team.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
*Occasional weekend availability may be needed.
*Compensation will be determined based on experience and discussed exclusively with the hiring manager.

As an Order Picker, you will play a vital part in our seamless order fulfillment process. Your meticulous approach and attention to detail will ensure that each customer order is precisely retrieved from our warehouse and prepared for the Quality Check and packing phase.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive order requests from the desk and navigate the warehouse to retrieve the specified goods.
Conduct thorough checks of the inventory list to guarantee accuracy and inspect collected items for quality assurance.
Deliver materials to the packing desk, updating our computer ordering system for tracking.
Efficiently operate order-picker trucks when needed to assemble orders.
Adhere to stringent warehouse safety protocols while meticulously fulfilling each order.
Execute any additional tasks assigned to maintain the smooth flow of operations.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Proficiency in operating various materials handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts.
Strong reading and communication skills to maintain precise order fulfillment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred: Six months of experience in warehouse operations.

Physical Requirements:

Good physical condition with adept motor skills.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds per instance.
Strong hand-eye coordination.
