Education/Certifications/Experience

Required:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Preferred:

• Associates Degree or Industrial Certification
• 1-3 years of experience in material handling

Skills and Ability:

• Mobility to get on and off a forklift multiple times per day while also manually arranging and picking material on and off pallets
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification
• Ability to read basic manufacturing technical drawings and engineering notifications
• Ability to read and follow safety and work instructions, procedures and policies
• Ability to do mechanical work in less-than-ideal conditions at times
• Basic computer skills with basic knowledge of MS Excel 
• Basic knowledge of math and measuring functions
• Ability to self-prioritize workload and organize tasks for completion in the allotted time
• Ability to effectively work with coworkers in a team environment
• Ability to accurately and neatly complete required production documentation
• Ability to work regular schedule and overtime, as required
• Basic working knowledge of MRP systems, preferred
• Ability to acquire CDL, preferred
