The purpose of your position as the Registered Nurse would be to ensure that patients are happily progressing through their treatment plans, talking to patients on the phone and answering questions as it relates to their treatment plan and ensuring the patients are satisfied with their progress.

Many of our patients have long term treatment plans that they need to get through. We go above and beyond to ensure our patients are progressing through the plan when they are not at the office receiving the physical treatments (IVs, modalities, red light therapies, etc.). The Registered Nurse is responsible to ensure the patient is getting through the program.

Your duties as the Registered Nurse would include:

· Maintain regular communication with the practitioner on any changes with the patient.

· Receive and answer emails and phone calls from patients about their treatment program.

· Maintain medical records in the patient chart.

· Diligently maintain appropriate documentation in patient’s chart.

· Competently fill medical refill requests from patients as requested.

· Complete referrals with all necessary data.

· Follow up on the patient’s progress on their treatment program.

Education and/or Experience:

· High school diploma or GED

· Experienced with using an EMR

· Ability to write documentation and follow prescribed style and format.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to multitask and experience working in a fast paced environment.

· Incredible ability to work with patients and make them feel comfortable and at ease.

Language Skills:

Must speak fluent English and have solid written and verbal communication skills. Have patience with the patients making them feel comfortable and at ease. Ability to pay attention to detail and patient indicators. Must maintain confidentiality. Must have the ability to respond to the most sensitive inquires or complaints from patients.

Physical Demands of Position:

Sitting/Standing/walking. Lifting patient paper charts. Typing at a desk for potentially longer periods of time. Answering the phone.

Compensation starts at $34 per hour, it is however commensurate with experience.

Hours:

This is a full-time hourly position with a 37.5 hour work week in the office, Monday-Friday.
