Job Description: We are looking to hire an experienced Furniture Delivery Driver with a background in furniture and household moving. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers’ homes and/or businesses in a safe and timely manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to handle heavy items, and a strong commitment to customer service and friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely load and unload furniture from delivery trucks.

- Deliver furniture to customers’ homes and businesses, ensuring it is in excellent condition.

- Assemble furniture as required at the store, our warehouse or the delivery sites.

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any possible questions or concerns.

- Maintain delivery logs and records accurately.

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Assist with various tasks throughout the furniture store.

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Ability (or willing to learn) to drive & maneuver trucks with up to a 20' Trailer.

- Reliable transportation and a functioning phone.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 75 lbs]).

- Previous experience in furniture delivery or household moving.

- Ability to schedule, plan, and execute deliveries independently.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
