JOB SUMMARY: This Lead Residential Specialist position is responsible for the day to day activities of the Phoenix House Group Home/Supervised Apartments/Our Turning Point Ranch. It requires involvement in the rehabilitation of clients and the supervision of all staff within the facility.

· Maintain an unblemished CDL.

· Monitor resident behaviors and communicate changes to appropriate staff.

· Conducts staff meetings, providing needed information to all staff.

· Participates in the reporting of current residential information and concerns to allow for a proper continuity of care between components represented within the company and with possible outside referrals.

· Prepares daily and weekly reports.

· Schedules and conducts regular meetings for all residents.

· Provide any other reports as needed by administration or any overseeing body.

· The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance.

· The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and managers.

· Willingness to abide by the company’s published rules and regulations

· Supervises and coordinates the delivery of services within the Phoenix House Group Home/Supervised Apartments/Our Turning Point Ranch component.

· Supervises residents through the enforcement of program rules and regulations.

· Provide supportive counseling, treatment plans, and individual interventions to assist the client in meeting treatment goals.

· Maintain a therapeutic milieu.

· Serve as support system to link residents with medical, physical and mental health needs as they arise.

· Provide education to the residents concerning the community resources and prepare the resident to succeed in a less restrictive environment.

· Supervise all activities to which residents have access.

· Schedule and screen any outside sources seeking to provide education or activity for residents.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent 

Experience:

• Minimum of Three (3) years of direct service experience with persons having a severe and persistent mental illness.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is beneficial.

Driving Requirements:

• Must be Over the age of 21 required.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience required.
• Possess a Valid FL Driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess)
• Possess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue required.
• Safe Driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug test.
