ROLE OVERVIEW 

LifeStance Health (LFST) is seeking an individual who has a genuine interest in healthcare, particularly mental health, to join our Communications team for a part-time internship with the potential for future opportunities. This internship will allow a student the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of leaders, mental health clinicians, and other industry experts in a publicly traded organization. 

LFST will work with your internship requirements to ensure your ability to earn credit towards your degree. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support communications team with research, writing, and collateral development 

- Provide assistance to the management of the internal intranet, including writing articles and announcements

- Development of internal email newsletters 

- Work with stakeholders on the development and execution of executive thought leadership activities such as researching awards and speaking opportunities, developing submissions, etc. 

- Additional opportunities on ad hoc writing 

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Unpaid

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or other similar programs 

- Experience creating articles/written communications with exposure to a varied audience 

- Experience with SharePoint and other internal communications channels preferred

- Exceptional written communication skills Familiarity with AP style Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills 

- Ability to be a great collaborator while running projects from start-to-finish independently 

- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
