Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Director of Maintenance to join our growing team!
Minnehaha Senior Living is located directly on a bus route off om the corner of 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street, in Minneapolis, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 77-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!
Shifts Available: Full-Time Monday-Friday, occasional MOD weekend rotation
Wage: $27-$31 per hour

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include:

  • Ensures repair, maintenance, and function of building electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, floor care, vehicles and grounds meet expectations.
  • Creates and implements preventive maintenance program for buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Ensures work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Consistently protects residents and tenants' safety by controlling access to chemicals and equipment.
  • Attends and assists in training events to maintain and expand competencies and customer
  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and adherence to department's budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanics, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing as well as
  • housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Experience in health care is preferred.
